Le Tour

We're almost half way thru this years tour already and its still wide open as to who will be the victor on the 27th of July in Paris, unlike previous years theres no clear favourite, and any of the riders in the top 10 could easily walk away with the Maillot Jaune.

I look forward to waking up every morning to watch the last hour in bed before heading off to work, its a great way to start the day.

Sky TV's coverage has been fantastic as usual, showing the live coverage of the start and first 3-4 hours at night, followed by the last 2 hours in the early morning.

As much as I'd like Cadel Evans to win (if theres no chance of a Kiwi winner then an Aussie is an easy choice!), my gut feeling is Alejandro Valverde will be wearing yellow on the ride into Paris.

After watching The Cobra, Ricardo Ricco run away with the stage 9 victory he'll definately be a talent to keep an eye on for the future, we'll have to see if he can run with the big boys tho' when they head up the Tourmalet tomorrow.
